Andre Leavell, Kent State- Tuscarawas | Men's Division 2 Basketball

Andre Leavell of Kent State- Tuscarawas is the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week.  Leavell was key in two victories last week for the Golden Eagles.  He shot 58% from the floor, scored 48 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and made 5 steals in games against Wayne College and Miami Middletown.  On Wednesday, against Wayne College, he scored 22 point, while shooting 10 of 11 from the charity stripe.  He also added 7 rebounds and two steals.  Leavell came right back on Saturday with a double-double, 26 points and 13 rebound performance.  His steal and dunk with 1:19 left to play broke open a close game as the Golden Eagles won their second game in a row.
