This week’s Men’s Division I Basketball Player of the Week honor goes to David Louison of St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn). In a three game week, Louison recorded three double-doubles for averages of 17.7 points and 14.3 boards per game while shooting 53.5% from the floor. The junior forward’s play led the Bears of St. Joseph’s College (Brooklyn) to their first HIVAC Tournament Championship since 2010 and also led to Tournament MVP honors. Louison is currently ranked 5th in the USCAA in rebounding with 9.8 per game.
