Penn State Shenango and Paul Smith's College Join USCAA
NEWPORT NEWS, VA- Paul Smith's College and Penn State Shenango are the two newest additions to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. The USCAA membership has now increased to 66 member institutions.
Penn State Shenango is the 14th member to join from the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). PSU Shenango is located in Sharon, Pennsylvania and currently has an enrollment of 837 students. They have joined the association with the intentions to compete in men's and women's golf. David Goodwill currently serves as the school's Director of Athletics.
Paul Smith's is located in Paul Smiths, New York and currently has an enrollment of 909 students. They have joined the USCAA with the intention to compete in all USCAA sports. Les Parrish serves as the school's Director of Athletics. School President John Mills commented on Paul Smith's request for membership stating, "The USCAA's commitment to integrity, leadership, and scholarship is consistent with the values and the educational mission of the College."
