2011 USCAA Basketball National Championships Schedule Announced

            The 2011 USCAA Basketball National Championship will take place from March 1 to March 5, 2011 on the campus of Penn State Fayette in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.  Over the course of the tournament, 44 games will be played in two arenas located at the tournament site, the Main Arena and the Maltho Athletic Building.

            Tournament registration for all teams will take place on Tuesday, March 1 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Penn State Fayette Community Center, immediately followed by a coaches meeting at 1:30 p.m. in the Maggie Hardy Magerko auditorium.  The USCAA Basketball skills competition will begin in the Main Arena at 2:00 p.m., highlighted by three point shooting and dunk contest competitions.  Directions to the Penn State Fayette campus, as well as a campus map and directory can be found in the 2011 USCAA Basketball National Championships Information Packet.

            The 2011 USCAA Basketball banquet will be held at the host hotel, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, and will begin at 7:00 p.m.  All-American and All-Academic Team award recipients will be acknowledged at the banquet.

            Tournament play will begin Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m. and continue through the USCAA National Championship games on Saturday.  The USCAA Basketball Women’s National Championship game will be played at 4 p.m., with the DII and DI Men’s National Championship games at 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., respectfully.
