BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. -- The Apprentice School men's basketball team outscored top-seeded Rochester College 43-12 in the last 13 minutes to rally from a 60-41 deficit for an 84-72 victory in the third place game of the USCAA Nationals on Saturday.

A Tom Webb 3-pointer put the Warriors up 60-41 with exactly 13 minutes left in the contest before the Builders commenced its rally.  Over the next 5:14 they cut the deficit to 65-57 on a Ryan Davis conventional 3-point play.  Rochester's Tyler Leipprandt's layup put them ahead 69-62 with 4:28 left and the Builders really turned up the defensive pressure.

A Jason Smith jumper and six straight points from Eric Ruffin put the Builders ahead for the first time in the contest at 70-69 with 2:25 left.  The Builders outscored Rochester 19-0 in a 4:15 span before a 3-pointer from Odai Baylor cut the deficit to 81-72.  Down the stretch Apprentice School hit 10-of-12 free throws in the last minute to seal the victory.
