Players of the Week for Feb. 9th-15th

Newport News, VA. - The USCAA wants to congratulate and celebrate its student athletes' accomplishments. We are proud to announce the following Players of the Week for the week of February 9th-15th.
Men's Basketball (Division I)
- - Co-Player of the Week- Marcus Hopkins, Marygrove, G, Fr., Southfield, MI- Hopkins posted 20 of his game-high 29 points in the second half, as he led his team to a victory over Algoma. The freshman also added seven rebounds and six assists. He followed that performance by posted 20 points and eight assists in the Mustangs' win over Holy Cross College.
- - Co-Player of the Week- Stephen Nosworthy, Johnson & Wales (FL), C, Jr., Deltona, FL- Nosworthy led the Wildcats to a win over USCAA opponent, Florida College. He netted 23 points, grabbed 15 boards, blocked three shots and dished three assists.
Men's Basketball (Division II)
- - Player of the Week- Marcus Genevro, PSU-DuBois, G, Jr., St. Marys, PA- Genevro led his squad to a 4-0 record in the USCAA and PSUAC this week. The Lions' guard had 27 points, seven rebounds and two assists against PSU-New Kensington. He poured in 22 points, grabbed eight boards and added five assists versus PSU-Mont Alto. Genevro then scored 23 points, and grabbed seven rebounds on the road against PSU-Greater Allegheny. In the Lions' final game he posted a double-double, as he posted 12 points and 10 rebounds in a road win over PSU-York.
Women's Basketball
- - Co-Player of the Week- Juliette Keller, IU-Northwest, G, Fr., Kouts, IN- Keller set a school record with seven three point field goals in a win over Kuyper College. The Redhawks' freshman was 7-for-11 from beyond the arch. She finished the game with 21 points, nine assists, six rebounds and four steals.
- -Co Player of the Week- Kayna Daniels, Rhema Bible, G, Fr.,- Daniels posted 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a victory over Southwestern Christian. She followed that performance with a double-double, in a win over Hillsdale Freewill Baptist. The Lady Eagles' freshman scored 26 points and grabbed 10 boards.
