USCAA Player of the Week Feb. 2nd-8th

Newport News, VA. - The USCAA wants to congratulate and celebrate its student athletes' accomplishments. We are proud to announce the following Players of the Week for the week of February 2nd-8th.
Men's Basketball (Division I)
- - Player of the Week- Ade Swann, Southern Virginia, G, Jr., Queens, NY- Swann posted 17 points and grabbed four rebounds, as he led his team to a victory over USCAA opponent, Apprentice School. Swann followed that performance with 18 points and six assists in a win over Williamson. Williamson is the top ranked team in USCAA Division II.
Men's Basketball (Division II)
- - Player of the Week- Sean Smith, Vermont Tech, F, Fr., Temple Hills, MD- Smith propelled his team to three victories in as many games. The freshman posted a double-double against Paul Smith's. He netted 29 points and grabbed 10 boards. The Green Knight's forward poured in 27 points and hauled in 7 rebounds against SUNY/Canton. In the final game of the week Smith scored 30 points and dished out eight assists against USCAA opponent, Eastern Maine.
Women's Basketball
- - Co-Player of the Week- Ebony Jackson, Marygrove, G, So., Detroit, MI- Jackson scored twenty points against Kuyper and Andrews respectively. She also added nine rebounds and four assists in a win over Kuyper. In a victory over USCAA opponent, Andrews she added eight rebounds and seven steals.
- - Co Player of the Week- Michelle Stueck, Silver Lake, C, Jr., Manitowoc, WI- Stueck was 18-for-26 from the field over a two game stretch. The junior center posted two double-doubles, as she totaled 38 points and 30 rebounds in two contests.
