USCAA Players of the Week
Newport News, VA. - The USCAA wants to congratulate and celebrate its student athletes accomplishments. We are proud to announce the following Players of the Week for the week of January 12th-18th.

Newport News, VA. - The USCAA wants to congratulate and celebrate its student athletes' accomplishments. We are proud to announce the following Players of the Week for the week of January 12th-18th.
Men's Basketball (Division I)
- - Player of the Week- Robbie Barnett, Southern State CC, G/F, So., Mowrystown, OH- Barnett posted 34 points in a tough loss to the Ohio Regional Campus Conference's Miami-Middletown. Barnett leads Southern State CC in scoring this season and has been the teams leading scorer of their last four games.
Men's Basketball (Division II)
- - Co-Player of the Week- Jacob Lewis-Hamel, NHTI, G, Fr., Concord, NH- Lewis-Hamel posted 36 points, grabbed five rebounds and added six assists, as he led the Lynx passed NCAA Division III Lyndon State College.
- - Co-Player of the Week- Craig Flint, Penn College, G, Sr., Port Alleghany, PA- Flint scored 24 points, grabbed five boards and dished out five assists in a victory over USCAA opponent PSU-Dubois. The Wildcat's senior followed that performance with another 24 point night in a win over USCAA foe PSU-Greater Alleghany. Flint's 24 against PSU-Greater Alleghany put him over the 1000 point mark for his career.
Women's Basketball
- - Co-Player of the Week- Heather Sandusky, PSU-Beaver, G, So., New Brighton, PA- Sandusky recorded her third double-double of the season as she netted 23 points and grabbed 13 boards in a victory over USCAA opponent PSU-Hazelton. The sophomore guard then led her team passed USCAA opponent PSU-Abington. She poured in 28 points and grabbed four boards in the victory.
- - Co-Player of the Week- Sharon Houston, Indiana University-Northwest, F, Fr., Merrillville, IN- Houston continued her outstanding freshman campaign, as she led the Lady RedHawks to a 2-0 record this week. The IU-Northwest forward began the week with a double-double, as she netted 17 points, 18 rebounds, six blocks and three steals in a victory over USCAA opponent Andrews. She followed that outing with another double-double. Houston's 35 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks carried her squad passed IU-South Bend.
