Bio

Deanna Bradley joined the USCAA Board of Directors in 2007 as Executive Vice President.

Bradley was hired on at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 1991 as Athletic Director and Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

As Athletic Director, Bradley had only 3 ‘club’ programs in the athletic department.  To date, the department has 7 intercollegiate programs, 6 of them competing regularly at the national level. She is also an adjunct instructor in the external degree program.

Bradley was recognized in 1995 for her efforts in reconstructing the athletic program by receiving the College’s Employee of the Year award.  This award was voted on and presented by her peers.

Bradley moved to the Pomeroy helm shortly after teaching and coaching for eight years at Delta High School in Delta Junction, Alaska. During her tenure at DHS, she won a state championship in both volleyball and basketball in 1986.  In recognition of her success, Bradley was named Alaska’s Coach of the Year in 1986 and received runner-up accolades in 1985 and 1987.  In 2006, she was the first female athlete from her high school to be inducted into her county’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
