USCAA Opens New Office

Dear Member Institutions,

 It has been a busy summer for the USCAA. We are pleased to announce that we have successfully moved into our new offices located at 739 Thimble Shoals Boulevard, Suite 1011-E | Newport News, VA 23606. Our new suite is almost four times that of our previous location, and features three individual offices and a conference room. Additionally, many of you may have seen in a press release that we have hired our second full-time employee, Michael Goodman (pictured right), who will be responsible for USCAA Communications and Compliance. We have also hired our 2011-12 graduate assistant, Kevin Wegman (pictured left below), who will handle much of our event and membership marketing campaigns. In the coming weeks, we will also be adding a part-time intern from Old Dominion University’s sports management program to our staff.

We are very proud of the growth that this association has seen over the past six years. This year, we have successfully achieved a 100% growth in membership from 2005. Now, with full-time staffing and greater resources, we intend to improve upon the quality of personal service that our association prides itself in providing. We are dedicated to promoting small college athletics and offering a platform where its members and their student athletes can receive first class opportunities. We appreciate your support and contributions to the success that we have achieved. The USCAA is truly a membership run organization and looks forward to working with you to continue to improve upon our processes and the opportunities we provide.
