Do to circumstances unforeseen to the USCAA a team has dropped from the Division II national basketball championship.

Upon hearing this news, the national office has pulled the coaches poll committee together for a emergency meeting, that committee voted and it has been determined that NHTI will be awarded the final bid.

Following this release, the USCAA will repost the revised brackets that will include NHTI.

After an impressive regular season, NHTI is very deserving of this bid. The USCAA congratulates NHTI and all other tournament teams. The USCAA looks forward to one of the most competitive Division II tournaments in recent history.

The USCAA along with Southern Maine CC are proud to host 8 of the top institutions in the USCAA, all of which have an opportunity of being crowned 2008 USCAA National Champions.
