USCAA Reaches Sponsorship Agreement with YouCastr
YouCastr has become the official supplier of audio/visual broadcasting for all of the USCAA National Championships. YouCastr also offers its services to USCAA member institutions.
NEWPORT NEWS, VA- YouCastr and the USCAA have reached a sponsorship agreement, making YouCastr the official sports broadcasting partner of the USCAA. YouCastr is an online audio/video broadcasting platform that makes it easy for parents, alumni, family members, and fans to follow USCAA sports, wherever they are. The broadcasting platform makes games available live, on-demand, or on DVD, through the access of a computer. In addition to being the official sponsor of the USCAA Championships, YouCastr has extended its services to all USCAA member institutions.
YouCastr makes broadcasting simple for any team, with only a digital camcorder and computer necessary to upload the games. Live streaming video is available to schools that have an active internet connection in their playing facility. Aside from increasing exposure, YouCastr provides athletic departments with an additional revenue stream. Each institution sets their own price based on what they think their audience will pay, then the revenue is split three ways: 60% to the broadcasting institution, 30% to YouCastr, and 10% to the USCAA. Single game and season long passes can be made available to interested parties. For example, for a single game, the price may be set at $4.50. After deducting a 50 cent transaction fee, the institution would make $2.40 profit. This number then can be multiplied by the total number of viewers to produce a total profit margin.
All interested parties should contact either the USCAA National Headquarters at (757) 688-5944 or Brad Johnson of YouCastr, Inc. at (617) 229-5725 for more information.
