USCAA Players of the Week 10/12 - 10/18
Men's Soccer
Luis Serrano is the men's soccer player of the week. He is a mid-fielder at Lindenwood University-Belleville. The junior scored three goals this past week leading his team to a 6-1 victory over NCAA Division III Blackburn and a 2-2 tie against NJCAA opponent Parkland.
Women's Soccer
Katee Puterbaugh is the women's soccer player of the week. Puterbaugh, a senior from Florida College, scored the lone goal in the teams first win against Clearwater Christian College. She also is the first four year women's soccer player for Florida College and the program's all-time leading scorer.
Volleyball
Katie Veno is the volleyball player of the week. She is a freshman from NHTI. Katie had a stellar YSCC invitational championship performance helping lead her team with seven kills, 41 digs, four aces and five assists.
Bea Anderson is the volleyball setter of the week. She is a freshman from Talladega College. Bea had 31 assists and 16 digs in a win against NCAA II LeMoyne-Own College. This is her second consecutive week as the POW.
Men's Cross Country
Greg Pivarunus is the men's cross country runner of the week for the second straight week. He is a senior from The University of Dallas. Greg ran a 27:40 8k time this week leading to his seasons best performance and a fifth place finish.
Women's Cross Country
Angela Cuba is the women's cross country runner of the week. She is a senior from The University of Dallas. Angela ran a 20:05 5K time this week during competition. This is Angela's second consecutive week as the Cross Country POW.
